Hello guys. Happy new month yaay..

How to make wigs

As some of you already know, Myself and Alex of nappyhaired have been hosting wig making workshops since 2016. It’s been amazing trust me and it just makes us so happy to see that we have contributed to people’s lives and businesses.

Our hope is that all the ladies or people who attend this workshop get a proper hold of this skill and go on to properly explore this field which the ladies from the previous workshops have already begun to do.. I’ve been tagged on some really nice progress pictures and it makes me super proud lol. This is a beginner workshop and it’s also for people who have prior knowledge that needs some fine tuning/brushing up.. So what’s going to be taught at the workshop? Read below:

How to make a full closure wig.
How to make a U-part wig.
How to make a crochet wig.
How to make a wig with lace closure.
How to make a braids wig.
Sewing techniques: how to stitch and handle wefts.
Wig finishing and how to adjust to different sizes..
When: 1th of February

Time: 10am – 6p.m (No African timing)

Where: Lagos (Venue details are sent upon registration).

What You Should Come With: An old weave and a right attitude towards learning!


Complete wig making kit including a mannequin head, a wig stand/holder, adjustable wig cap, elastic bands, 1 weaving thread, 2 needles, 2 wig clips, 2 wig combs, 2 butterfly clamps, 4 38-mm T-pins.
Learn a valuable skill that could be a major/alternative source of income.
Practice hair for both crochet and and sew-in methods would be made available.
Refreshment (what is an event without small chops?)

Fee: There are 2 different options so you get to pick whichever works best for you.

30 000 Naira ( Full wig kit + practice hair + training)
20 000 Naira ( Training only)
